He was sentenced to five years in prison.

the neck of his convicted killer, a man identified only as Balal, before Balal was to be hanged in Noor, Iran. Balal killed Hosseinzadeh during a street fight in 2007, according to the semi-official Iranian news agency ISNA. But just seconds before Balal was to be hanged, he was forgiven by Hosseinzadeh's mother.

pain after being attacked by a man with a machete and sticks in Bangui, Central African Republic. Foreign journalists intervened and stopped the beating as the crowd shouted, "He is a thief, he must die." Police arrived and took the man into custody. He was then taken to a hospital for treatment before being brought before a prosecuting officer.
