About:

The traditional Gujarati Sarees, are called Bandhej/Bandhani/Leheriya, made by

a technique of Tie & Dye. This produces distinctive patterns making each piece unique. They are made mainly of Silk, Satin, Cotton & Georgette.These Sarees are best suited for Indian Festivals.



Requirements:

The main composition for a Gujarati style Saree draping comes with:
An Embellished Saree | Hued glass bangles | A pair of footwear | Jewelry in gold | Few safety pins

How to Wear?

1. Tuck the Saree in the inskirt starting from the right to the left and bring it around to the front.
2. Now, let's make the pleats & tuck it neatly with the pleats facing right side.
3. Hold the pallu end and make pallu pleats.
4. Then, take the pallu around from the back over to the right shoulder and pin it up neatly leaving pleats
hanging in the front.
5. Pin the hanging pleats on the left side of your waist.


Tips & Tricks

1. Wear a matching inskirt.
2. You can also arrange pallu beforehand and pin it to hold it in place, even when you store the Saree.
3. Settle in your footwear beforehand to get the right length of Saree at the foot.
4. Keep safety pins handy for easy tucks & pin-ups.

About:

The Bengali style Saree is a must have for

grand occasions and festival gatherings. Bengali style Saree draping looks more gorgeous than it ever has in Sarees with intricate borders and bright hues.


Requirements:

A traditional white Saree with red border | Blouse with puff sleeves | Inskirt or petticoat | Red and white bangles | A keyring or trinket | Round red bindi | A pair of heels | Staple filigree Jewelry | Safety pins

How to Wear?

1. Let's start with tucking the Saree end from the right side of the waist and until it completes one full round back to the right side.
2. Then tuck the Saree across from right side of the waist to left side and then, the reverse from left to right.
3. Repeat the step 2 times.
4. Now make pallu pleats and place it on the left shoulder such that it makes a deep U in the front.
5. Now pick a pallu corner and tie a trinket to it - the pack of keys or an antique silver keyholder.
6. Bring the pallu corner to the front under the right hand and place it on your right shoulder.

Tips & Tricks

1. Always wear this Saree without a fall lining.
2. Wear your heels beforehand to get the right length of Saree at the ankle.
3. Remember to tie a key ring or trinket to the pallu end.
4. Keep safety pins close for quick pin-ups.

About:

Any regular Saree can be draped in a manner

that gives an impression of a Lehenga. Due to its uniqueness of merging two traditional dress forms, this style is only worn on special occasions and celebrations.

An embellished Saree | A classy blouse | Satin inskirt or petticoat | A pair of heels | Heavy stone studded Jewelry | Plenty of bangles | Few safety pins.

How to Wear?

1. Start by tucking the Saree starting from center back only until right side of the waist.
2. Make pleats measuring a span width such that you get 5 pleat 'sets' in between right to left side of the waist.
3. Now, tuck the Saree until center back such that the Saree completes one round around the waist to the starting point.
4. Take the pallu to make pallu pleats.
5. Bring the pallu to the front, place it on the right shoulder and pin it up neatly.
6. Now, hold the upper corner of the pallu and take it left up until side waist and pin it up.

Tips & Tricks

1. Feel free to adjust the number of pleats to suit your body frame.
2. To avoid fluffiness around the waist, try wearing an inskirt or petticoat that has a belt fastener instead of the traditional string.
3. Make sure to wear your footwear beforehand to get the right length of Saree.

Let's introduce you to the Maharashtrian style of wearing

a Saree. With its distinctive style of draping, it accentuates the body while highlighting a rustic upcountry charm.

A Paithani Saree | A pair of cycling shorts and a matching blouse | A nose pin, a bindi, set of glass bangles and golden temple Jewelry | A pair of comfortable footwear, preferably flat | Few safety pins

How to Wear?

1. Hold one end of the Saree and wrap a full circle around the waist.
2. Taking few inches of both side edges, tie a knot around the waist center.
3. Hold the shorter end at the bottom, bring it back under the legs and tuck it in the center back.
4. Now, take the untied portion of the Saree and make 5-6 pleats and tuck it in around the waist center.
5. Make 4-5 pallu pleats.
6. Bring the pleats from around the back to the front, place it over the left shoulder and pin it up neatly.
Tips & Tricks

1. Wear cycling shorts instead of inskirt for this drape style.
2. Make sure to tie a tight knot around the waist center.
3. Since, our footwear recommendation for this drape is flat-heels, you can always slip them on after the drape.

1. Take one end of the Saree, make 6-7 pleats and tuck it in the centre facing left.
2. Tuck such that the remaining length of the Saree is to your left and emerges from the inner most pleat.
3. Ensure the Saree length falls just an inch short of the floor.
4. Tuck Saree towards left measuring your span width. You can even tuck the Saree half way around the back.
5. Now, pick the other end of the Saree, make pallu pleats.
6. Bring the pleats from around the back to the front and place it over the left shoulder.
7. Leave the Saree loose so that it makes a deep U on the right side of the waist.
8. Now, pin the pallu pleats neatly on the shoulder.

1. Wear Jeggings instead of inskirt for this contemporary drape style.
