While this effect is minimum when agents with sharp spectrum are considered (e.g. ICG), spectral corruption can be important when agents such as ink are utilized.

Targets are implanted in gradually decreasing areas and the sensitivity is calculated
We observe a significant degradation of algorithmic performance as a function of the target area.
