Use "A"-frame and chain block to slowly lower down the Jaw cylinder through the Jaw opening with second chain block to assist the cylinder to right position, once the hole is in line then insert the pin with lubricated and hammer tap (do not force in), when pin is installed then install jammed nuts outside the compartment, once the pins is fixed, lower down the chain block until the hydraulic cylinder is properly seated.

Use "A"-frame and chain block to slowly lower the entire set of Jaw plate and linkages, once the hole is in line then install the upper pin (168 dia) at below deck and ensure is fully lubricated with marine grease and do not force in the pin, if necessary touch-up it, keep the chain block in hanging position until lower pin is installed.

Upon completed item 19, use clean bar from opposite end to assist the correct position of the pin hole, then install the lower pin from outside the compartment by tapping force, ensure is fully lubricated with marine grease and do not force in the pin, if necessary touch-up it, keep the chain in hanging position until the hydraulic cylinder is installed.

Upon competed item 20, use second chain block to lift up the hydraulic cylinder to correct position, then install the cylinder rod end pin with marine grease lubricated at inside the compartment, ensure the cotter pin is install at the bevel side of the pin.

Upon completed item 22, install all hoses and fittings back to original and lower down the chain block until is slack and remove, unsure inside compartment is clear of tool and debris, then power up the hydraulic system and perform function and pressure test, during function the Jaw to up right position and adjust the adjuster till satisfactory condition.

Pump in grease at all linkages pins and ensure do not over pack the grease.

Once function and pressure test is completed then install all inspection covers with new rubber packing or proper sealant and new stainless steel bolts and nuts. Then fill in 100% water inside the compartment to check all inspection covers for leaks and short circuit.

Completed the above item 24, do house keeping on the working area, then arrange owner rep (Master or Chief Engineer) to witness the test, upon completion of function test, prepare document (service report) for owner to sign and stamp.

Check the hydraulic cylinder and ensure is tested with in good condition and properly plug all connecting ports.

Check and ensure all grease passage way and groove is clear.

Replace all stainless steel grease nipple.

Insert the Inside bearing (07) and out side bearing (06) into the roller (05) by hand force, once the bearings is fixed then slight the roller into the Tow pin (03) one by one until is at right position, then use hand force to turn the rollers (05) and ensure is free to rotate.

Place the 50mm x 400mm long angle bar support vertically right in side, lower down the Tow pin (03) into the housing slowly until is Tow pin is rest on the support and leave the chain block with tension (be care do not put your hand in side the housing).

Once the Tow pin (03) is in position then install the split ring (02) and tighten twenty two pieces of M16 bolt (13) with thread locking adhesive (Locite 242) to the required torque and leave the temporary angle bar support in place.

Fix the Cap plate (09) with the hydraulic cylinder (08) together and insert into the Tow pin (03) slowly until the correct position, then install the cylinder eye bracket (12) at the cylinder bore end, once the bracket (12) is fixed, lower further until the bracket reach the base then place four pieces of M20 holding down bolt (18) and washers (21) apply thread locking adhesive (Locite 242) and tighten to the required torque.

Once Hydraulic cylinder base bracket (12) is fixed, then fix two lengths of hydraulic hoses (29) and cap plate (09) with three pieces M12 bolt (26) apply thread locking adhesive (Locite 242) and tighten to the required torque.

Place the Cap (04) at the Tow Pin (03) and tighten seven pieces of M24 Allen cap screw (14, 15, 16 & 17) with thread adhesive (Locite 242) and tighten to the required torque.

Pump grease on all grease points and apply grease evenly at the rollers (05) surface, do not over pack the grease.

Upon completion of 1 to 10, start up hydraulic system and raise the Tow pin (03) to maximum and remove the temporary support from the housing, once support is removed then retract the Tow pin (03) to maximum, check the hoses connection to ensure not leak and all mounting bolts is tighten properly, try repeat the Tow pin (03) up and down for several time to ensure every things is prefect, during function test apply grease if necessary.

Cover up the inspection cover (10) with new rubber packing and twelve pieces M10 bolt (22) and washers (23) with apply thread adhesive (Locite 242) and tighten to the required torque.

Clean up equipment surrounding and arrange owner rep (Chief engineer or Master) to witness the function test and sign off acceptance (service report).
