The subject is the investigation of English poem`s stylistic potential and studying typical translation transformations found in the first Ukrainian version (2010).

The methodological and conceptual ground of the diploma paper are based on the results of scientific researches of native and foreign scientists such as O.M Chernozemova, A. Ya. Aleksyeyev, L.V Fomіna, L.P. Privalova

have an adequate, correct translation of artistic Lyly’s interpretation about mythological character Endimion for effective intercultural dialogue.

The objective of the research is to investigate stylistic potential of Lyly `s play «Endimion, the Man in the Moon and define problems and peculiarities of its translation into Ukrainian».
