BlackBerry OS version 10.3.1 will introduces the ability to classify emails created on the BlackBerry smartphones and preserve the classification of email received by the BlackBerry smartphone

When drafting an email, a user can view and select a list of possible classifications. The selected classification of the message automatically enforces a set of related rules that can be any combination of the following:
Security encoding of the email (signed, encrypted, signed + encrypted, plaintext)
Text appended to subject line
Last line of text or first lines of text added to the email body
