Слова some, any и a lot of мы употребляем с исчисляемыми существительными во множественном числе, а также с неисчисляемыми существительными.

предложениях и никогда не употребляем в отрицательных.

Little означает «совсем мало, почти ничего» и для усиления используется с very.
Например: I’ve got very little money. I can’t buy any bread.

Мы используем a few/few с исчисляемыми существительными во множественном числе
(tomatoes, books, cups…).
A few значит «немного, несколько, но достаточно».
Например: There are a few tomatoes. We can make a salad.
Few означает «совсем мало, очень мало» и для усиления часто употребляется с very.
Например: There are very few people in the cinema. It is almost empty.
