Angel Falls is a waterfall in Venezuela. It is the world's highest uninterrupted waterfall, with a height of 979 metres and a plunge of 807 metres.

water is sprayed on the smallest particles and turns into mist. The mist can be felt a few kilometers from the waterfall!
Слайд 4To get to the waterfall is not easy, as it is
located in a lush tropical forest. And there are no roads leading to it. You can get there only by air or river.

Mid-20th century; they are named after Jimmie Angel, a US aviator, who was the first person to fly over the falls.
He flew over the area and landed on top of a lonely mountain in search of gold.
