of the Southwest lived in, carefully dug rectangular or circular depressions in the earth with branch and mud adobe walls supported by log sized corner posts. This was a very creative architecture used, Pueblo people considered columns to support the weight, digging to lay out the structure and shape. Most architectures and developers use similar techniques before they start a construction project.
