- 27. We have many cities and towns,
- 28. Our population is growing very quickly .
- 29. We develop our civilization,
- 30. but spoil the environment,
- 31. Build a lot of railroads
- 32. and highways for our cars.
- 33. We need more cars, buses and motorbikes.
- 34. We pollute our air by chemicals,
- 35. Our nature resources are limited,
- 36. We develop different industries,
- 37. We kill a lot of trees ,
- 38. Vast forests are cut
- 39. and burn in fire.
- 40. People kill many birds and animals
- 41. As a result some rare species of animals disappear forever.
- 42. air pollution is not reduced,
- 43. A lot of rivers and lakes are polluted too
- 44. A number of rivers and lakes dry up.
- 45. But we try to change our attitude to the environment.
- 46. The countryside is cared for ,
- 47. We plant trees,
- 48. Work in the gardens and parks,
- 49. Save our recourses,
- 50. Reduce water pollution,
- 51. And protect nature.
- 52. We want to make the world a better place!
