most beautiful cities in the world! Kyiv is located on the picturesque banks of the Dnipro river. Kyiv is the political, economic, scientific, industrial and cultural center of Ukraine. It has a lot of places to visit. For example: the Golden Gate, St. Sophia’s Cathedral, the House with Chimeras, Mariyinskiy Palace, the Kyiv-Pecherska Lavra.

years old. There is a legend about brothers Kyi, Shchek, Horyv and their sister Lybid, who find the city.

lined with chestnuts, lime trees and poplars. Independence square is at the northern end of the city. It is the most popular place for national celebrations and holiday events.
