is the same for Academic and General IELTS.

You will be asked some questions on general
topics:
work
studies
home
family
interests
Слайд 4Section 2 (3–4 min).
You will be given a task card about
a particular topic.
You will have 1 minute to prepare a monologue on the given topic.
Then you return the task card to the examiner and talk about the topic for 2 minutes.
After your talk the examiner may ask you a few questions.
Слайд 5Section 3 (4–5 min).
The third section involves a discussion between
the examiner and the test taker, generally on questions relating to the theme which they have already spoken about in Section 2.
Слайд 6IELTS Speaking scores are calculated using 4 criteria:

Each of the criteria receives a score from
0 to 9 points.
For example, if your marks are:
Fluency and Cohesion: 7.5,
Pronunciation: 7.0,
Lexical Resource: 7.0,
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: - 7.5.
Then your total score for IELTS Speaking is (7.5+7.0+7.0+7.5)/4 =7.25, which will be rounded to 7.5.
