Слайд 3The Blue Lagoon of Iceland is a unique place. The second
such is no longer not only in Iceland, but throughout the world. The Blue Lagoon is in the south-west of Iceland, on the Reykjanes peninsula.
Слайд 4In the distance, in clouds of white vapor, the station Svartsengi
is viewed. It was there, at the station, drilled wells, through which natural boiling water and steam, from a depth of several hundred meters, rise to the surface of the earth and are used to generate electricity. Then the boiling water, which has given its energy, is mixed with cold water to a temperature of 37-39 degrees and merges into the natural bowl of the lava field, forming the Blue Lagoon.
